Sahasra's Pageturner – Library Guidelines

Plans and prices

Membership

• Each child has their own membership. One parent account can have up to 2 children, and each child can be on a different plan.
• After you register, we will contact you to collect payment. The membership becomes active from the start date we set, and is valid only for the subscribed plan duration (until the end of the expiry date).
• Membership is non-transferable.
• One membership can be used only by members of the same household.

Borrowing Books

• Each child can have up to 3 books at home at a time. Books in an order that has not been delivered yet also count.
• To get new books, tick the books you are returning at checkout. We pick them up when we drop off your new books, on the same visit.
• With our weekend deliveries every week, this lets each child read up to 12 books per month (approximately 36 books in 3 months, 72 books in 6 months, and 144 books in a year).
• Children can borrow books from any category.
• Requests are fulfilled based on availability.

Orders

• You can cancel an order yourself from My Orders while it still shows as "Requested".
• When a membership expires, you can no longer order new books, but you can still schedule a pickup to return the books you have.

Book Condition

• Please handle books with care.
• Do not write, highlight, fold pages, tear pages, or damage the books.
• Keep books away from food, water, pets, and anything that may damage them.

Lost or Damaged Books

If a book is lost or severely damaged, the member must either:

• Replace it with the same title in good condition, or
• Pay the replacement cost of the book.

Delivery & Pickup

• Home delivery and pickup are available in our service areas.
• Delivery schedules may vary depending on location and demand.
• Please keep books packed and ready during pickup.
• We deliver and pick up every weekend, on Saturday or Sunday. Your books arrive on the next Saturday or Sunday after you place your order, and we collect any returns on the same visit. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Book Availability

• We strive to provide your requested books whenever possible.
• The website shows a book as available only when a copy is free. As soon as a book is ordered, it is reserved for you.
• If a title is unavailable, we may recommend similar books based on the reader's age and interests.

Membership Cancellation

• Membership fees are non-refundable once activated.
• Membership cannot be paused or transferred.

Every returned book brings joy to another reader. Thank you for helping us keep our library in excellent condition.
